This is the trailer for Forest Whitaker's Golden Globe Award winning movie The Last King of Scotland. In my opinion, a lot of people have slept on this movie, perhaps because of its rather deceptive,adventure-sounding title, but yet it is being tipped to be a strong contender for the Oscars in six weeks time.
The movie is a powerful thriller based on the events surrounding the brutal, torturous and evil Ugandan dictator Idi Amin's regime as seen by his personal physician during the 1970s. Amin was an extremely lavish man,had many wives and loved all things Scottish,(hence the title of the movie).Amin was a cannibal and as leader was responsible for the persecution of over 300 000 of his own people. He died in exile in Saudi Arabia in 2003. Kerry Wasington also stars in the movie as one of his wives.
You've got to watch this, people;I think Forest will win the Best Actor Oscar over Will Smith.
