The Oscars: Jennifer Hudson & Forest Whitaker Are Winners!

Well folks Oscar night is over and as we predicted, Jennifer Hudson and Forest Whitaker were big winners in the Best Supporting Actress and Best Actor categories respectively. Eddie Murphy lost out in the Best Supporting Actor category, possibly because of the controversy surrounding his new movie Norbit which is said to have affected the voting.

Aaliyah: Unseen Matrix Footage

This is quite sad. Jada Pinkett-Smith, Harold Perrineau and the directors of the Matrix:Reloaded and Revolutions discuss Aaliyah's role in the Matrix before her death. Footage includes unseen footage of her portrayal of Zee the wife of Link played by Harold Perrineau. Nona Gaye later took over the role after her death.

Jennifer Hudson Honoured at MAC luncheon

Best Supporting Actress nominee, Jennifer Hudson was honoured yesterday by MAC cosmetics an a pre-Oscar luncheon. Is her star or the rise or what?

Spotted Recently: Naomi Campbell with Terence Howard

More Oscars buzz and it looks like fiesty Naomi Campbell and Pride actor Terrence Howard are an item. The two were spotted together again at a reception party hosted for the nominees of the Indipendent Spirit Award held on Thursday night. Apparently they had intended to keep their relationship under wraps until the Oscars ceremony but itlooks like that didnt work out. I'm stil wondering why Did-he? shouted and swore at them last week?

In other relationship news.....

Is Bobby Hittin' This?

Theres a strong rumour doing the rounds suggeting that Bobby Brown and Natalie Cole are now an item. They have been spotted together getting cozy at a few pre-Oscar bashes. Things that make you go hmmmm.....

Premio Lo Nuestro Awards

Jennifer Lopez and her husband Marc Anthony attended the Premio lo Nuestro Awards in Miami yesterday. The award ceremony recognises artistic acheievement in Latin music and Marc Anthony recieved the award for Male Artist of the Year in the Tropical Music category.

New Music: Joe-' If I Was Your Man'

Brilliant brand new single from R&B singer Joe from his new album Who Is Joe out in April. This is the 3rd single I have heard so far from the album after 'Where You At' and 'It Wont End' and I'm not sure why it is taking so long for the album to drop. Sometimes record label politics just gets in the way of good music. By he time the album comes out in April, if its not pushed back again, most people would have heard the songs and that could negatively impact reord sales. Most of the album production is by the Tim & Bob and this track is no exception.

The video is also brilliant and stars Blair Underwood, whose is increasingly carving out a new career appearing in music videos.
