The couple together at the Dreamgirls premier last night In a new twist to the Eddie Murphy saga... former Spice Girl Melanie Brown's split with comedian Eddie Murphy seemes to now be confirmed.
Apparently Tracey Edmonds, the ex-wife of singer Kenneth "Babyface" Edmonds, told People magazine she had been seeing Murphy "for about a month and a half".
It comes as Murphy told a television show of the Mel B split and threw doubt on reports she is pregnant with his child.
Edmonds, who split from "Babyface" in October 2005 after 13 years together, made her comments as she and Murphy reportedly attended the New York premiere of his new film Dreamgirls.
Asked if she was happy, the 39-year-old smiled and said: "Yes, very happy. We're having fun.
The couple are said to have started seeing each other in June, just two months after the Dr Dolittle star divorced wife Nicole after 12 years.[Source]
Eddie Murphy reportedly revealed that he's split with former Spice Girl Melanie B., and he's questioning the paternity of her unborn child.
Sources say Murphy was asked on a Dutch TV show this weekend if he was happy with the pregnant Melanie, to which he reportedly responded, "You're being presumptuous, because we're not together anymore. And I don't know whose child that is, until it comes out and has a blood test. You shouldn't jump to conclusions, sir." Okay then!
The couple started dating in June, just two months after the "Daddy Day Care" star's divorce became final. Murphy already has six children, while Melanie, aka Scary Spice, has a daughter from a previous relationship. Now who's your daddy?

Eddie Murphy will reprise his role as Detective Axel Foley in the fourth installment of the Beverly Hills Cop franchise. Executives at Paramount Pictures are keen to revive the classic action-comedy series which dominated the box office in the 1980s.
The first two pictures in the franchise were produced by Jerry Bruckheimer and his former partner Don Simpson.
Producer Lorenzo Di Bonaventura says, "Axel Foley is one of the great action-comedy characters, a character that Eddie loves.
"I'm lucky enough to help bring it back. This genre is missing from the landscape." (Source: World Entertainment News Network)
